Actress Sujitha made her debut in the film industry at just a month old, starring in the Tamil film Abbas, released in 1983, when she was reportedly only 41 days old. Her appearance in Mundhanai Mudichu, directed by K Bhagyaraj, further solidified her presence in the industry. The film, featuring a stellar cast including Urvashi, Poornima Jayaram, and Deepa, was produced by AVM Productions and released on July 22, 1983. In the movie, Sujitha portrayed the role of a baby boy, marking her early start in cinema.

Currently, she is portraying a significant role in the Tamil mythological television show Gowri, which premiered on January 22, 2024, on Kalaignar TV.
