Jasprit Bumrah has arrived yet again. The talisman pacer maintained a tight line in his first over and went on to scalp Australia’s Mitchell Marsh with the first ball of his second over.

Australia began the innings cautiously as Bumrah kept his lines tight bowling menacing swingers to the Aussie openers Warner and Marsh.
Warner clipped on to the leg side to grab a quick single, but apart from that, Bumrah conceded no other runs the rest of the over.
After Warner smacked one to the off-side to grab a boundary in Siraj’s over, Marsh took strike again, awaiting Bumrah’s menacing delivery.
And menacing it was, as Bumrah bowled a lovely ball just short of length and ever-so-slightly drifting away from Marsh with extra bounce.
For those who are expecting Virat Kohli’s retirement, he is undoubtedly the most fittest in the team. #WorldCup2023 https://t.co/yd9WTBfAzi— (@pizzaperrfect) October 8, 2023
Marsh temptingly took the bait and swung his bat at it, as it picked up the outside edge and flew towards Kohli at slip, who took an acrobatic catch to provide India with the early breakthrough they were looking for. Marsh had to depart for a duck.
With the stunning catch, Kohli also became the player (non-wicketkeeper) to register the most catches for India in ODI World Cups with 15 catches. He overthrows Anil Kumble who had taken 14 catches.
