'Don't Think I've Changed Much': Actor Gautham Karthik On Childhood Pic
The film Criminal will feature Sarath Kumar alongside Gautham Karthik in the lead.

Gautham Karthik has managed to make a mark for himself in Tamil-language films. He made his acting debut in Mani Ratnam’s Kadal (2013). The actor, who is gearing up for the next release Criminal, recently shared an adorable picture from his childhood that has the whole Internet in awe.

The endearing picture has the actor posing like a swagger as he looks extremely cute. Gautham accompanied his childhood picture with a caption that reads, “A throwback to my childhood! I don’t think I have changed much.”

The snapshots of the actor prompted various reactions from users with people dropping several heart emojis and calling him cute. A user wrote, “You looked like a China boyyyy!!” A second user highlighted, “Especially second photo. Morning beach la paaaaathen!”

Speaking of the actor’s upcoming film Criminal, it will feature Sarath Kumar alongside Gautham Karthik in the lead. It has been produced by Parsa Pictures and IB Karthikeyan under PR Meenakshi Sundaram and Big Print Pictures respectively. It will be directed by Dakshina Moorthy. Earlier in August, the first look was released by actor Silambarasan.

A statement released by the team of the film reads, “So far, many Tamil films based on the nativity and love stories in the backdrops of Madurai have been made. But Criminal will be an exception, as it is going to be a crime-thriller based in the city. We have made many local residents of Madurai act and dub in their own voices for this film.”

The first look of Criminal promises a captivating crime thriller. It features Gautham Karthik and Sarathkumar playing criminal and cop respectively. It shows a variety of shades of both the actors who are expected to play a father-son duo in the film. The actor’s last outing was in Pathu Thala and the film August 16 1947, and both films were released in 2023. While Pathu Thala was a commercial success and grossed Rs 55 crore at the box office, August 16 1947 failed to perform well at the box office.
