Adah Sharma is all set to captivate audiences once again with her upcoming film Bastar: The Naxal Story. Reuniting with the creators of her hit film The Kerala Story, the actress is set to deliver another impactful performance. The film is produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and directed by Sudipto Sen. The trio, having tasted success in exposing harsh realities through their previous project, is now gearing up to unravel yet another explosive narrative that promises to be bold, honest, and heart-wrenching.
Adah Sharma took to her Instagram handle to release three posters from the film. The first poster depicts a haunting scene with a few men hung up on a road, while the second poster features Adah Sharma standing tall on the battlefield as the film’s lead character, IG Neerja Madhavan. The third poster introduces the menacing antagonist, gazing directly into the camera, against a backdrop of raging fire. Notably, the posters also reveal the film’s scheduled release date, set for March 15, 2024.
Accompanying the posters, Adah wrote in the caption, “From the courageous storytellers of The Kerala Story, comes Bastar – The Naxal Story.”

Speaking about the film in an interview, Sudipto Sen shared, “After Kerala Story’s unparalleled love and blessing, we gathered the courage to bring out another deadly secret of independent India. It is from Bastar right at the heart of our country. The outrageous, heinous, and abominable truth that will shock you at the core of your existence. We strongly believe we shall get similar blessings and support you showered on us.”
