Elon Musk gave the internet a glimpse of what is to come in the next line of production of his electric car company Tesla Motors.
The CEO of Tesla Motors released a video on Twitter on Friday, showing a ‘release candidate’ version of the next in line Tesla Model 3 on the go.
The duration of the video is 6 seconds. While the video just shows a typical Tesla-styled Sedan cruising from one end to another, it is significant because of the ‘release candidate’ featured in it.

A ‘release candidate’ in the process of production of a vehicle typically means that the vehicle is functional and almost ready to enter into production after testing.
Tesla Model 3 might be the most anticipated vehicle in the automobile industry, especially for the new-age technology that Tesla is known for. Tesla is expecting to tap the ‘mass’ market with Model 3 release and hence has priced it at $35,000.
Limited production of Tesla Model 3 is expected to begin in July. With the demand for Model 3 outnumbering the production capacity, Tesla raised $1.2 Billion in convertible debt and shares this week in order to expand its production.
