Suzuki India Recalls 4 Lakh Scooters and Motorcycles, Here's Why
The the hot-selling products Access 125, Avenis 125, and Burgman Street 125, which were manufactured between April 30, 2022, and December 3, 2022, have been listed for recall. 

The leading two-wheeler maker Suzuki has recalled over 4 lakh motorcycles and scooters in India. The decision was taken after witnessing a faulty high-tension cord connected to the ignition coil.

Total Scooters

It has been reported that a total of 3,88,411 scooters fall under the inspection initiative. Reports suggested that the hot-selling products Access 125, Avenis 125, and Burgman Street 125, which were manufactured between April 30, 2022, and December 3, 2022, have been listed for recall.

Motorcyle

When it comes to the bike segment, the tech-loaded V-Strom 800 DE also falls in the affected category. The model was added due to a faulty rear tyre issue. As per the details shared by the brand, some portion of the tyre tread may separate, causing cracks in it.
