Popular actor Rohit Roy is the latest celebrity to buy an electric vehicle (EV). He has acted in both films as well as television shows.

Rohit Roy recently gifted himself a brand-new set of wheels, and the fact that the motorcycle is the ultra-performance Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition is very surprising.

Only 10 bikes were manufactured in 2023. The electric superbike’s limited-edition model, which retails for Rs 5.60 lakh (ex-showroom), was unveiled earlier this year.

Rohit Roy now has a limited-edition motorcycle, joining a select group of aficionados who were able to obtain one within an hour of the online booking opening. The Mumbai Saga actor was one of the lucky ten to get his hands on the motorcycle and posted photos of it on his Instagram account. “And finally, the latest addition to my stable has arrived! Happy New Year to me!!” the actor captioned his post.

Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition: All You Need To Know

In honour of India’s Chandrayaan-3 space mission, the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition was introduced with unique enhancements. The distinctive white paint job on the limited-edition model, according to the manufacturer, helps lower drag on the bike. Moreover, it adds a striking orange finish to the F77 nameplate. The “Space Edition” badging is present in several locations, and the charging port flap of each of the ten limited edition units is numbered.

In addition, the F77 Space Edition features an aerodynamic wheel cover and fuel tank grips. The electric motorcycle’s key fob is composed of a single piece of aerospace-grade aluminium. The bike is equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres, as opposed to the MRF Steel Brace tyres seen on an F77.

Based on the Recon model, the Ultraviolette F77 Space Edition boasts an electric motor that can produce up to 39.94 bhp and 100 Nm of peak torque. With just one charge, the 10.3 kWh battery pack is said to have a 307 km range. The F77 has a peak speed of 152 kmph and can sprint from 0 to 60 kmph in 2.9 seconds.
