In a move to improve the train connectivity and network in Maharashtra, the state government is likely to begin the maiden Vande Bharat Express service in Marathwad.
As per the details shared by the TOI, the train is likely to run on the Jalna-Mumbai route through Aurangabad railway station. An official announcement about the service will be made after getting the green signal from the Railway Board.

The progress of the train service is underway, and the concerned authorities are soon to start the track testing work on the Jalna-Manmad section.
Here’s What Official Says About Serivce
Informing about the same, a South Central Railway’s (SCR) senior official says that the service is likely to start somewhere between the end of this month or the start of the new year, TOI reported. Amid this, a team of professionals, who will be taking care of all the train operations have been hired. They are getting suitable training for their role at Secunderabad.
Official says that the above-mentioned express is likely to move at an average speed of 130 km per hour as few express are permitted to move at 100 kmph. However, the average speed might fluctuate, depending on the track.
Another Vande Bharat Express
Meanwhile, to make the train connectivity more strong in the country, PM Modi has flagged off another Vande Bharat Express for the Varanasi-New Delhi route. The decision has been made to improve train connectivity in Prayagraj, Varanasi, New Delhi, and Kanpur.
