After dropping the most loved products in updated avatars Seltos 2.0 and Sonet, Kia is now gearing up to introduce a new product called Kia Clavis. As per the details shared by Cartoq, the upcoming new sub-4-metre compact SUV codenamed has been confirmed as AY, and will make a global debut at the end of next year. While the sale is likely to start in 2025.
The company has not revealed or shared any related details as of yet. However, it has been speculated that the brand might give some green signal regarding the same in 2024.
Kia Clavis Engine Details
If rumors are to be believed, if launched, it will be positioned somewhere between Sonet and Seltos. The model is expected to come with a boxy and rugged styling, featuring a proper SUV road appearance. Customers can expect the model in multiple options including internal combustion engine (ICE), electric, and hybrid models.
All the models are said to have some robust features, which will help it to create its niche in the segment in the global market.
ICE Models
According to Cartoq, Kia India aims to produce the upcoming compact SUV close to 1 lakh units yearly. In total, almost 80 percent of this production will be dedicated to internal combustion engine units with a decent percentage will be allocated for exportation in the global market.
