Kawasaki has added the latest motorcyle to the fleet named W230. This has been introduced in the Japanese market, unlocking wider options for the customers to choose from.
The latest offering is a successor of the W Series Estrella (W250), which was discontinued in Japan in 2017. It has been reported that the all-new W230 is expected to go on sale somewhere around September or November.
Design
Talking about the design, the model looks quite simple and elegant in its segment. It gets a round-shaped LED headlight setup, impressive side indicators, bullet-inspired side mirrors, and pea-shooter exhaust. It also features twin analogue consoles with a digital inset with a sweet touch of chrome on its body.
It has been introduced in the white paint scheme, featuring a black strip on a tear-shaped fuel tank, and a dual-tone combination on a single seating arrangement. Even the spoke wheels are not spared as it flaunt the chrome treatment at both ends, giving it a proper retro vibe.
Suspension and Braking
On the suspension setup, the motorcycle is supported by telescopic forks at the front, while the rear gets a dual shock observer. The company has included front and rear discs with dual-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on a stylish 18-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheel.
Powertrain
The newly released Kawasaki W230 uses a single-cylinder 233cc engine. The company has not revealed the power figures as yet. The unit is reportedly mated with a six-speed gearbox.
