The petrol will come in five trims - J, G, G CVT, GL and the top VL, while the diesel will be available in four - J, J(S), G and GL.
Features added to the new Corolla Altis include eight-way powered driver's seat, reclining rear seats, 7-inch touch screen infotainment system with navigation, reverse camera with parking sensors, push button engine start/stop, rain sensing wipers, rear reading lamp and LED headlights. The interiors are covered in a dual tone theme and the car has leather seats. The new Corolla Altis will be available in seven colours.
Toyota will offer the new Altis with both petrol and diesel engines that are available in the current-generation Altis in India. The petrol variant will be powered by the 1.8-litre dual VVT-i engine which makes 140PS and is mated to a choice of either 7-speed CVT gearbox with paddle shifters or a six-speed manual box. The diesel gets a 1.4-litre D-4D engine capable of generating 88PS with only a six-speed manual transmission on offer.
