According to Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency services, at least 11 people were injured in the attack, including a 25-year-old woman who succumbed to her wounds.
The victims, including a woman in her 20s in moderate-to-serious condition and four men in their 20s in moderate condition, were taken to Soroka Hospital, it said.
The MDA said that five individuals have been listed in good condition after being hit by glass shards or blunt trauma, while three additional people were being treated for acute anxiety.
This is the second terror attack incident in Israel in a week. Earlier on October 1, at least eight people were shot dead and several others wounded, along with a dog, in a suspected terror attack at Tel Aviv’s Jaffa.
Police confirmed that eight people were killed and seven others were injured in the attack, which occurred on Jerusalem Street near a light rail station. At least two gunmen were involved in the attack. Both attackers were neutralized, according to Israeli authorities.
