Urban explorers are those who like to spend time in deserted towns and cities, exploring hidden or abandoned structures.

What are the chances that you would step foot into an old abandoned and dilapidated house just for the sake of it? Or enter the ruins of an old structure right in the middle of the forest? Well, these are locations that the common man would generally avoid, out of fear mostly. The fear of what may lurk around in the dark corners of these structures could give anyone the creeps and dissuade them from being overtly adventurous. That is where urban explorers come in. Urban explorers are those who like to spend time in deserted towns and cities, exploring hidden or abandoned structures and locations that aren’t generally accessible to the general public or permitted for visits. Most of them generally document their visit or stay for others to see. Recently one such explorer was left puzzled when he stumbled across expensive vintage cars on a property inside a forest.

The urban explorer, who goes by the name Lord Explores on social media, documented his discovery of a car graveyard. A car graveyard, sometimes known as a car cemetery, is a location where abandoned and decaying road vehicles are housed as they await destruction or recycling. In a video posted on YouTube, the explorer visits an unknown location, which is a property surrounded by forests, consisting of some barns and an old dilapidated house. The house is almost in ruins and rotting furniture as seen in the video, but the surprise package is the set of vintage cars that have been left behind in the barns. The explorer deduces that the former owner of the property must have been a car collector.

There was a Chevrolet Biscayne car which was manufactured in the US between 1958 and 1972. This car used to cost up to Rs 53 lakh. Some of the cars were from the 1940s and the man could not recognise them. Some people said that it might have been an old model car of Ford company. Even though these vehicles were in junk condition, someone could certainly make millions of rupees from them if they were restored and sold today because they were so old.

What's your reaction?
