Train rides are an altogether different experience. People opt for flights to reach their destination quickly in a fast-paced life. But travelling on a train, sitting by the window and watching the scenery change, drinking tea, watching strangers engage in a conversation and finding company in each other for the ride is quite a feeling. While the scene may look a certain way in AC coaches, the general class sleeper coaches are notorious for overcrowding and inability to sit in your berth in some cases. A video has emerged on the internet from a general sleeper coach where people are enjoying and laughing to their heart’s content as a man shakes his leg to a popular Haryanvi song.
In this particular train, the general sleeper coach is filled with music and entertainment. A man dressed in a grey t-shirt and black pants can be seen dancing enthusiastically to Bol Tere Mithe Mithe by Jagbir Raathi. He attempts to recreate the hip-swaying steps of Sapna Chaudhary and ends up receiving hoots and praises. The man can be seen holding the ends of the t-shirt like one would hold their kurta and swaying his hips. Instead of feeling shy or hesitant, he danced freely along with another young man. It quickly grabbed other passengers’ eyeballs who could be seen enjoying the performance thoroughly. The camera also captures how people from nearby berths can be peeking and smiling as the man continues his dance with full energy.
“Get ready for a similar entertainment video again guys, something new is coming soon,” the caption read.
The video has amassed 23.5 million views on Instagram. A user wrote, “The movie is going on in Sleeper and we spent money on AC tickets for nothing.” Another commented, “Uncle looks happy because his wife has not come along.” One more chimed in and wrote, “This is real life brother, live it freely as long as you are alive.” A user wrote, “Ye sab karne ke liye bahut himat chahiye salut hai sir apko (You need to have guts to be able to pull this off. Salute to you, Sir).”
Such was the hype for this video that on public demand, the account shared the full dance video later.
