Lara Mason, a self-taught baker hailing from the United Kingdom, has captured the attention of social media users with her remarkable creation: a life-sized cake featuring none other than the global pop sensation Taylor Swift. Crafted from red velvet vanilla flavour, this edible masterpiece consumed a staggering 38 hours of Mason’s time, carefully spread over the course of a week to ensure perfection. Expressing her inspiration behind the conception, Mason revealed her long-standing desire to pay homage to Taylor Swift through her culinary talents. “I’ve always wanted to make a Taylor Swift cake because, for the last maybe five years, she has been top of everyone’s list,” she shared with The Guardian.
“I really like her, I’m not a diehard Swiftie, but I do really appreciate her music and the fact she is a role model for women,” told the baker who also claimed to have used ingredients worth 130 kilograms to prepare the cake.
Sharing her creation on social media platform X (Formerly Twitter), Mason sparked a wave of admiration and enthusiasm among online users. “I made a Lifesize cake of Taylor Swift in a Chiefs’ sweater holding up the NFL Super Bowl trophy. What do you think?!” reads the caption.

Another reason for baking this cake, for Mason, was fuelled by the approaching Super Bowl, an event closely cherished by the baker and her husband due to their shared love for the NFL. Seizing the moment, Mason combined her admiration for Swift with the excitement of the Super Bowl, resulting in a unique creation. “I never got round to making a cake but obviously the Super Bowl is coming up, me and my husband really enjoy the NFL so to put the two things together, it was the perfect opportunity to go ahead with it. She’s amazing, but having the NFL connection made it even more special,” she explained.
Since its posting on February 9, the image has garnered nearly 7,000 views along with a plethora of comments lauding Mason’s exceptional talent.
Among the reactions, a user expressed, “I love this. What an amazing cake to make. I hope TS full name sees it.” Another marveled, “Wow, amazing! Cake art!” Echoing similar sentiments, a commenter praised Mason’s skill, stating, “Girl! You’ve got mad skills.”
