This Cafe's Door Only Opens When You Smile. Internet Says 'That's So Cool'
You can’t just walk into this cafe in Europe. The doors will only open if you flash a big smile first.

Smiling isn’t just about feeling good—it can make you appear more friendly and brighten your day. It’s a powerful mood booster and stress reliever. Taking this concept to the next level, a European coffee shop called Good News has implemented a unique idea: their door only opens if customers flash a big smile before entering. This clever concept has gone viral on social media, with the video of the cafe’s innovative entrance idea amassing over 24 million views on X.

In the video, when customers first approach the Good News cafe, they’re initially puzzled when the automatic door doesn’t open. Their confusion quickly turns into delight upon spotting a small poster that reads, “Smile to get a Free Coffee. Beating Blue Monday,” accompanied by a smiley emoji. As they smile and the door opens, their faces light up with even more joy as they step inside, turning an ordinary visit into a fun experience. Sharing the video, the page wrote, “A cafe has developed a sensor whose door only opens to people who smile. This should happen all over the world.”

Reacting to the video, a user wrote, “That’s so cool. Smile everyone.”

Another shared, “I’m sure that made all of those people’s day.”

“I can’t smile until I’ve had coffee. Lol,” a comment read.

Another wrote, “I agree that everyone should keep smiling every day.”

An individual shared, “Making the world a better place, one coffee at a time.”

One more added, “That’s so beautiful.”

Earlier, the same coffee shop had another clever offer that no one could resist. According to a video, the staff promised free coffee to customers, but with a catch, as they had to make one of their most serious barista laugh. The video, shared on Instagram, shows people trying their best to crack jokes and lighten up the barista’s mood and it has delighted coffee lovers everywhere.

Sharing the video, the Good News cafe wrote, “Are you capable of making our most serious barista laugh? What if we told you that the price was a Good Coffee? Let’s get started.”

Since the shop shared the clip, it has garnered over 1 million views.
