A regular hiking trip turned into a spine-chilling adventure for a man in the Parallel Forest, located in the Wichita Mountains near Lawton, Oklahoma. What was meant to be a peaceful walk became a viral sensation when the hiker captured what many believe could be the clearest sighting of Bigfoot yet. The nine-second video, which has garnered over 1.7 million views on TikTok, shows a large, shadowy figure moving through the dense trees. While the footage is blurry, the hiker, who posted the clip on his TikTok account, called it the “scariest moment" of his life. However, doubters have been quick to dismiss the footage, calling it nothing more than another hoax or a case of misidentification.
According to the New York Post, the hiker can be heard gasping as he films what he describes as a large, bipedal figure in the distance sniffing flowers and looking in his direction.
“I really think I caught a f–king Bigfoot on camera," exclaimed the user in the caption.
“Scariest moment of my life and I really think I caught a f****** Bigfoot on camera in parallel forest. I was just doing some sightseeing and enjoying the day and saw something in the distance. I’m still shaking as I type this," the user added.

The video, however, did not convince viewers.
A user commented, “Brings back memories of Harry and the Hendersons," referencing the 1987 American fantasy comedy film featuring Bigfoot.
Another highlighted, “That’s a costume. There’s no bones or muscle movement in those feet."
Meanwhile, a user convinced of the creature’s existence had an in-depth explanation to offer. The comment read, “I’ll tell y’all what. Bigfoot honouring song has been with the Yurok for thousands of years. Used in ceremony. In Lakota, he’s a fifth-dimensional being. In the Tuolumne River by Fresno, the Yokuts have cave paintings going back to 1800. On our native side, he’s always existed. Most of the population forgot or doesn’t understand this world is old. We are new. Things existed long before us and will be here long after us. We just forgot as a society."
What is a Bigfoot?
Bigfoot, also referred to as Sasquatch, is a mythical animal that exists and it has been described as a hairy and human-like creature, inhibiting woods of North America — Pacific Northwest. Whether you call it Sasquatch, Yeti or Bigfoot, the creature gets its name from its supposedly giant footprints said to be as big as 24 inches long and 8 inches wide.
Bigfoot, meanwhile, has been a part of American folklore for so long that sightings are almost mundane. This has led to many expeditions and other investigations that seek to enforce the existence of the monster even though there is no scientific evidence. It has since become a legendary creature and appears in numerous film documentaries, films and various forms of publications.
