Remarkably, the Range Rover still bears the same number plate it had during its service to Queen Elizabeth II, a rare occurrence according to car salesman Jack Morgan-Jones of Bramley Motor Cars.

“Normally, they endeavour to change the registration number when a car has been in royal service, but in this case, the reg will stay the same, so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that this was the car used by the Queen,” explained Morgan-Jones to Sky News.

The Range Rover, designed specifically for royal use, boasts unique features such as covert lighting, specially adapted fixed steps, police emergency lighting, and a modification ordered by Queen Elizabeth II to enhance accessibility. One distinctive detail that adds to its royal legacy is the additional grab handles installed in the rear, a modification made by Her Majesty herself to facilitate easy entry and exit.

“This is one of the most well-covered royal cars that was in a royal fleet, including the Obama state visit,” Morgan-Jones remarked.

The official auctioneer’s website describes the car as a “true land yacht” in its “finest form.” Finished in Black Diamond and featuring a sumptuous black leather interior with special Black Badge Carbon Fiber trim, the vehicle also comes equipped with optional extras such as a Shooting Star Headliner, RR Monograms to Headrests, Massage Seats, Privacy Glass, and Driver Assistance Systems. Additionally, the lucky buyer will enjoy the benefit of the car being supplied with the balance of its Rolls-Royce warranty and no servicing required until March 2024.
