Excellent writing skills are a fundamental part of any country’s education system. These skills testify to a student’s ability to maintain neat copies and answers. A viral video on Instagram about the student’s exceptionally brilliant writing skills has left the viewers fascinated. The Instagram video depicts a boy showing his writing skills on an examination answer sheet. In the answer sheet, the candidate has written the answers sophisticatedly. As depicted in the answer paper, the boy is from class 8th and has penned the answers in calligraphy. This appears to be an appealing writing style, but it is a tough skill to acquire. The candidate has also highlighted the answer number and the headings, thus introducing more clarity to the answer. This student has maintained consistency in writing such neat answers in not only one but the whole copy. The text overlay on the card humorously describes that this is not an answer sheet but a wedding card since such beautiful handwriting can be visible in the latter only. This clip has garnered more than 12 million views and counting. The song Where Is My Mind by the American rock band Pixies plays in the backdrop.
As described in the answer sheet, the boy is a student of the Kurram School and College Parachinar District Kurram, Pakistan.
Social media users were enthralled to watch the student’s superb writing and appreciated him in the comment section. One of the users demanded to give the student 10 extra marks for good handwriting. Another user requested the student to make his practical file. Others prayed for happiness and success in the life of the student.
Calligraphy is the art of beautiful handwriting. The term calligraphy is derived from the Greek words kallos meaning “beauty” and graphein meaning “to write”. Calligraphy holds importance in many cultures, regions, and languages. It is an important component of Islamic architecture and can be seen in mosques. Nowadays it is used for designing logos, event invitations, etc.
A similar clip went viral on Twitter some time back, where a user shared a glimpse of his near-perfect calligraphy skills.
