Mahindra lauded Dr Nambiar for his talent, and thanked him for ‘reminding us to give voice to our passions.’ Dr Nambiar won the ICICI Bank iSHINE singing category competition held in 2023. Despite the competition taking place several months ago, Mahindra was impressed by Dr Nambiar’s voice upon discovering his performance a while ago.

In the video, Dr Nambiar can be seen singing the 1986 classic, ‘Jawaniya Ye Mast Mast’ with one of the renowned Bollywood playback singers, Shaan. Mahindra not just praised Dr Nambiar’s stage performance but also expressed regret for not witnessing this talent before. As soon as the clip was shared on X, it mustered over 1 lakh views on X. Reacting to the post, the official X account of ICICI Bank said that they were humbled by Mahindra’s kind words.

Dr Nambiar had posted the video on his YouTube channel in 2023. He titled the video, “ICICI iShine singing contest. First prize winner Suresh Nambiar with Shaan.” He has over 2000 subscribers on YouTube. Dr Suresh Nambiar worked in the UAE as a medical practitioner and is currently a retired person.
