Blinkit Delivers Ceiling Fan In 12-Minute, Internet Wants ‘BMW In 10 Mins’ Next

The rapid rise of e-commerce platforms has revolutionised the way customers shop, offering the convenience of speedy delivery of groceries and various other items. Blinkit, in its effort to enhance customer experience, has teamed up with to deliver ceiling fans in just 12 minutes.

Founding Member & Chief Business Officer of Atomberg Tech, Arindam Paul took to social media platform X (Formerly Twitter) to announce the latest collaboration. “Now live on Blinkit. Same price as other ecom platforms. Delivery in 12 minutes. Let’s see how many we sell this summer,” he wrote.

Arindam’s post was reposted by Blinkit CEO Albinder Dhindsa. “Stoked to see how well Arindam and team are building Atomberg. Happy to be a part of their journey,” he shared.

Both the original post and the repost quickly gained traction online, amassing numerous views and sparking a variety of reactions in the comments section.

Arindam responded affirmatively, stating, “Yes, UC tie up in progress. Should happen soon.”

Another inquired, “Made in china?” to which Arindam clarified, “100 percent made in India in our Pune plant, which is one of Asia’s largest fab manufacturing plants.”

Previously, Blinkit grabbed the attention by teaming up with Sony to offer rapid delivery of the newly launched PlayStation 5 (PS5) Slim edition and controllers within 10 minutes. Dhindsa in a post, stated, “We’re live! Blinkit customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru can now get the all new PlayStation 5 Slim editions and controllers delivered in 10 minutes!”

The new PlayStation 5 Slim can be purchased directly through Blinkit for a price of Rs 44,990, while the variant with a disc-drive is available for Rs 54,990.
