Anupamaa Actor Gaurav Khanna's Wife Breaks Silence On His Chemistry With Rupali Ganguly

Anupamaa currently holds the top spot in the TRP charts for being the most-watched Hindi show. Featuring Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna as Anupama Joshi and Anuj Kapadia, the Rajan Shahi’s show continues to delight the masses with its engaging plot and interesting character. Among all the cast, the on-screen chemistry between Anu and Anuj remains the highlight, especially their romantic moments are loved by viewers.

Recently, Akanksha Chamola, Khanna’s wife and a supporter of their on-screen connection, shared her thoughts on his romantic scenes with Ganguly.

In an interview with ETimes, Akanksha confessed that she never felt jealous seeing them. Interestingly, Khanna adds that Chamola often provides valuable suggestions, particularly during romantic sequences as she offers guidance to enhance those scenes.

Speaking about the same, she says, “I don’t get jealous at all looking at romance and chemistry. I in fact give me suggestions. My romance is a book romance which can’t be matched by a film or a TV show.” Khanna adds, “She gives me tips, ‘You did this less. You should have held Anupama’s hand for a little longer, the romance should have been more visible.’ She’s my home tutor and I try not to make the same mistakes again. Akanksha is an avid reader and people who read novels generally like reading more than watching but for me it’s different. I’m not a reader. I’m a painter. I draw and I visualise.”

Whatever you see onscreen by Anuj is the mixture of my director, my wonderful writers, my wonderful co-actors and my absolutely stupendous wife. It feels nostalgic to romance in ’90s songs and the best part is that the entire India loved MaAn’s chemistry. All credit goes to our creative team, writers and our producer. They came up with this idea of creating the thread of this,” Gaurav Khanna shared.

The Anupamaa star further admires his wife, Akanksha Chamola, and claims that she’s the most honest critic in his life. According to Khanna, she often gives him reality checks and believes that helpful criticism helps him grow as an actor.
