New Delhi: Fresh images have been spotted on the web that show the purported successor to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus having the much-rumoured Force Touch technology- a new feature for touch responses Apple first introduced in its Apple Watch and the new MacBook.
The new Force Touch technology determines levels of pressure applied to a screen or trackpad to show additional features.
Images of the display assembly of the supposed iPhone 6s, posted by GeekBar on Weibo hint at the device taking on elements from its predecessor.
However, the images do not show much of a difference between the upcoming device and the existing iPhone 6.
Another image leaked by MIC Gadget claim to show the prototype version of the iPhone 6s measuring 7.1 mm thick, slightly thicker than the 6.9 mm iPhone 6 and matching the 7.1 mm iPhone 6 Plus, MacRumours notes.
Earlier reports have claimed that the rumoured next-gen iPhone 6s will come with a cabinet in rose gold colour to match the latest Apple Watch Edition smartwatch.
