OnePlus has organised its OnePlus 2 launch event a tad different from the usual ones where there is an auditorium and a seated audience. Pushing the envelope, the company unveils the second-gen OnePlus smartphone to the world in virtual reality, making the event the first-of-its-kind. To facilitate attendees across the globe, the company has released its custom VR OnePlus Cardboard headset. You can download the VR headset-compatible app from here and join the the world's first product launch in virtual reality. This doesn't mean that you can't attend the event if you don't have a VR headset. The company has decided to make the event available in Cardboard-free, 360 video as well.
