LG's latest flagship smartphone LG V30+ goes on sale in India today, exclusively on Amazon India. The latest smartphone by the South Korean manufacturer, LG V30+ was officially launched on December 13 and is priced at Rs 44,990. The device is available in two colour variants -- silver and black on Amazon. On the purchase of LG V30+, LG is also offering one-time screen replacement, and a wireless charger for free with the V30+. This is the first smartphone from LG to feature an OLED display and use the Snapdragon 835 SoC.
In terms of specifications, the LG V30+ sports a 6-inch 18:9 Quad HD+ OLED FullVision display with 2880x1440 resolution. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC and carries a 4GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage and can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card. The V30+ runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat with UI-UX 6.0+ on top. As for its optics, the LG V30+ features a dual camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel (f/1.6) primary lens and a 13-megapixel (f/1.9) 120-degree wide-angle lens. The selfie camera comes with a 5-megapixel (f/2.2) wide-angle lens. The smartphone is backed by a 3,300 mAh battery with QuickCharge 3.0 support.
While the previous LG V series smartphones, like the LG V20, sported a secondary display at the top, the LG V30+ comes with a modified version of it, i.e. when the display is off, the AOD replaces the Second Screen by providing shortcuts to Quick Tools and Music Player without having to turn on the display. The optional semi-transparent Floating Bar can be customized with up to five apps for easy access to the most used applications. When not needed, the Floating Bar can be dragged off to the side so it doesn’t take up any screen space.
