New Delhi: Adding a new member to its Iris brand of smartphones, Lava has launched a new smartphone - the Iris Alfa L - in India. The new phone features a 5.5-inch qHD IPS display with a resolution of 960x540 pixels and runs Android Lollipop 5.0.
At its heart is a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1 GB RAM. This dual-SIM phone offers 8 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card.
The phone sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front camera for video calling.
The Lava Iris Alfa L is packed with a 3000 mAh Li-Polymer battery that is claimed to offer a talk time of up to 22 hours on 2G and 13 hours on 3G.
The phone will be available in white and metallic grey colours, at a price of Rs 8000.
