According to a report Kodak's coming out with a camera-focused smartphone on December 9, 2016 named Ektra. The phone will be launching in Germany and will be available through retail shops for $532.
The Kodak Ektra sports a 21-megapixel rear camera with Kodak non-reflective lens coating and a f/2.0 aperture lens. The Ektra also includes optical image stabilisation, Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF), dual-LED flash, and HDR imaging as well.
The rear camera also capable of 4K video capture and includes a touchscreen DSLR dial with haptic touch feedback. For selfies, the Ektra comes equipped with a 13-megapixel front camera.
Other specs include a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution, MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core SoC that's backed by 3GB RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, USB Type-C port, and a 3000mAh capacity battery.
The device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.
