New Delhi: Fly Mobiles may have been operating in the Indian market for a number of years, but it has not been an active player in the burgeoning Indian smartphone space. With the plans to diversify its lineup, the company now appears to have geared up and is all set to bring its new warriors to the smartphone battlefied in the country.
The company, which is one of the largest smarthpone manufacturers in Russia, is launching three new smartphones in India. Out of the three phones, two will come engineered with octa-core processors. While we are yet to hear of their pricing, a source has confirmed to us that the new phones will be priced under Rs 12,000. Also, one phone will be priced under Rs 10,000, the source added.
Fly Mobiles will also announce its partnership with e-commerce major Snapdeal for its new range of smartphones at an event on February 25 in New Delhi.
Fly Mobiles entered the Indian market back in 2005. The company says it has 15,000 retail points and over 415 service centres in the country.
Founded in 2003, Fly is a European mobile phone company with offices in UK, India, Russia and Ukraine.
