New Delhi: After scathing reports about Amazon’s unbearable work culture, it seems the e-commerce giant wants to show that it cares for its employees by introducing a new feedback system.
The company has been working on a regular feedback from its white-collar staffers to monitor how they feel at work and what are their work environments.
A Bloomberg report says that the internal feedback system, dubbed Amazon Connections, poses questions to employees daily on topics including job satisfaction, leadership and training opportunities.
The program was first started last year at Amazon’s fulfillment centers that mostly staffed blue-collar workers and has been rolling out the initiative to other departments.
While the system is confidential, the individual responses aren’t anonymous. The responses are assessed by a team that compiles responses in a daily report to be shared with the company.
