Actor Santosh Juvekar is popular for his work in Marathi and Hindi cinema. The actor who now enjoys immense recognition among the masses, has had his share of struggles. Santosh Juvekar dropped a clip on his Instagram handle in which he can be heard sharing details about his struggle and his friend’s unconditional support as well. Santosh, in the video, revealed, “During the release of my first picture, I was struggling. I played a small role in that film. I didn’t even have a rental house to stay in at that time. There was no money either. I didn’t have good clothes to attend the premiere of my movie. At that time, a friend of mine helped me out and gave me a shirt worth 20 rupees which he got from the street markets. He also paid for the bus I was travelling in. I attended the premiere wearing that shirt.”
He recalls the time when his friend was infuriated to watch him in a small role in the film. He shared, “After a few days, the same friend called and he also came to my house. Grabbing my collar, he asked me to return his shirt, also 60 rs which he paid for the bus ticket. He even told me to not work in the film again.” Later, the actor named his friend in front of everyone and expressed his gratitude to him for his selflessness.
Santosh Juvekar is widely recognized for his films like Adham, Rocky, Darlings, and Bhonsle.
