The Congress returned to power in Karnataka after seven years, defeating the BJP by a huge margin.

Food Minister on Tuesday moved the Food Bill in Parliament, the bill would give the right to subsidised grain to around 67 per cent of the population.

BJP, however, defended its decision on distancing from Yeddyurappa as there was serious issue of corruption against him.
