Yet another Samajwadi Party minister is in news for the wrong reasons. Threatening for 'bad press', Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Minister Vijay Bahadur Pal said the Samajwadi Party knows how to put journalists in their place.
The minister was reportedly referring to the negative reportage that the UP government is facing. He was speaking at an event in the state on Wednesday.
Pal's comments come just two months after journalist Jagendra Singh was allegedly murdered after he wrote against UP minister Ram Murti Verma.
He has also faced flak in the past for his comments. He had recently openly accused the UP Police of working as an organized gang of dacoits. Earlier also at an event, he had threatened of dire consequences if those present enchanted Lord Ram's name again and again.
