SP delegation to meet Prez tomorrow

New Delhi: Following the turmoil in Uttar Pradesh, a delegation of Samajwadi Party leaders will be meeting President A P J Abdul Kalam in Delhi on Tuesday.

The delegation will demand the recall of UP Governor T V Rajeshwar and to stop entertaining Congress' plea to dismiss the Mulayam Singh Yadav government in the state.

"We are meeting the President tomorrow to apprise him the whole situation in the state," news agency PTI quoted Party General Secretary Amar Singh as saying.

Party General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, on Sunday, had said that the party would ask the President to recall the Governor as he was acting with "malafide and motivated" intentions to dismiss the SP-led government.
