There is set to be renewed tensions as the Income Tax department raids on Karnataka Power Minister DK Shivakumar’s properties including the Eagleton Golf Resort, where Gujarat Congress MLAs are lodged.
The opposition attacked the government in Parliament over the Income Tax Department’s raids at Karnataka Power Minister DK Shivakumar’s residence and the Eagleton golf resort, where Congress MLAs from Gujarat are staying. The Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha witnesssed protests by the opposition members against the “witch-hunt by the government”.
