Jayalalithaa is likely to seek release of 7 convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday to discuss the financial package for her state and crucial pending legislations in Rajya Sabha like the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Bill.
There are speculations that PM will seek AIADMK's support in the Rajya Sabha to help the Centre pass GST and other pending bills. AIADMK is the third largest party in the upper house and its support can prove to be very crucial.
Jayalalithaa is also likely to seek financial assistance for Tamil Nadu which has a debt burden of over Rs 2 lakh crore.
She will also seek the release of seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case and a corpus fund to deal with natural disasters in the wake of Chennai floods.
