Most exit polls have so far predicted a comfortable win for Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal, the DMK-Congress alliance in Tamil Nadu, the Left Democratic Front in Kerala and the BJP alliance in Assam.
The prediction in West Bengal was on expected lines, with the agencies predicting TMC?s return with a slightly reduced margin. In Assam, while most exit polls predict a comfortable win for BJP-AGP, C-Voter says it?s too close to call.
In Tamil Nadu the exit polls predict a win the the DMK-Congress alliance, except C-Voter which predicts Jayalalithaa will buck poll history and come back to power for a second consecutive term. The prediction for Kerala is unanimous ? all of them say the LDF is going to dislodge Oommen Chandy?s government.
