Congress mulls strategy for monsoon session, discusses Net Neutrality and Whistleblowers bills

Ahead of the Monsoon Session of Parliament, the Congress party on Tuesday night held a high-level meeting to discuss key strategies on bills and policy matters.

According to sources, the issues that were brought up at the Congress meeting included Net Neutrality and the Whistleblowers bill.

Sources further said that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi maintained key focus on the Real Estate and the Land Acquisition Bill.

The party is also likely to question the Narendra Modi government on its failure to submit a report on the net neutrality issue.

This came even as all the Congress chief ministers decided to skip the Niti Aayog meeting convened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the controversial Land Acquisition Bill.
