Delhi Assembly witnessed high octane drama on Friday after BJP MLA Vijender Gupta stood on the bench after he wasn't allowed to speak.

Gupta wanted to speak on the appointment of AAP MLA Rakhi Birla as the Deputy Speaker of the House but he wasn't allowed by the Speaker Ram Niwas Goel following which he protested and then suddenly stood on the bench taking everyone by surprise.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kerjriwal also lost his cool and was seen shouting back at Gupta. Kejriwal said he also had a fact-finding report by the Delhi Jal Board in his possession and threatened to expose the wife of the BJP MLA.

Later, things calmed down and the motion was moved to make Rakhi Birla the deputy speaker.
