Andhra Pradesh CM seeks 3 weeks time to discuss Telangana bill
This is the second time extension has been sought. The letter has been signed by some Congress legislators from Seemandhra.

Hyderabad: With the Andhra Pradesh state assembly failing to arrive at a consensus over the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Bill 2013, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has now written to the President seeking three weeks time to discuss and return the bill. The deadline for the Andhra assembly to discuss the bill and return it ends on Thursday.

This is the second time extension has been sought. The letter has been signed by some Congress legislators from Seemandhra.

So far, around 90 MLAs, including the Chief Minister, have spoken on the Bill and expressed their views while some others have given their opinions in writing. But most of the discussion was disrupted by either Seemaandhra or Telangana legislators on one demand or the other.

The Seemaandhra ministers and MLAs, who held a meeting with the CM, decided to seek additional time citing frequent disruptions caused by their Telangana colleagues. Accordingly, the Chief Minister said today that he has written a letter to the President in this regard.
