Shah Rukh Khan remains the undefeated king of Bollywood. After the success of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, the actor has established that he is here to stay. Popular for not only his exceptional acting skills and his charm but King Khan is also known for his wit and honesty while dealing with questions thrown at him. The actor is known for his witty responses that have left interviewers scratching their heads. Now, an old video which has surfaced on Reddit shows the actor answering a BBC anchor who enquired about ‘Sexism’ in Bollywood.
The anchor asks SRK how many Bollywood actresses have spoken about the sexual nature of the industry. She deems the industry as being ‘Sexist’. “Have you done anything about it?” she asks him. To this, he responds by saying, “Personally, when I am making films or even working in films, I am very clear about the attitude towards women. Even the smallest aspects of their names coming in the title first.”

The anchor interrupts in between and starts asking him more questions. SRK, even though seemed irritated, managed to maintain his calm and gave a fitting reply.

Since being uploaded, the video has gone viral and garnered tons of responses. “The name of this show is Hard Talk. The journalists do not beat around the bush. Tough questions are asked. But nothing that Shah can’t handle,” commented an ‘X’ user. Another person wrote, “Her questions are good and to the point, but isn’t she supposed to listen to her guest’s answers?!”

This is not the first time SRK is making headlines for his witty responses. Once, during an interaction, the Pathaan actor was asked whether he would have enjoyed the same kind of stardom and acclaim if his name was Shekhar Radha Krishna instead of Shah Rukh Khan.
“I don’t think there would be any difference (if he had a different name). I have never been made aware through my profession, or otherwise, about my religion in this wonderful country. I find it really strange when I hear this also. I think artists have this tendency to transcend divisions. I think art and artists have that tendency since you don’t really consider who is from what community, from what sect, you just like it/them or you don’t. I would still smell as sweet whatever name you call me by,” SRK said at India Today Conclave in 2009.
