Batting great Sachin Tendulkar wished fans on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi as he shared a video on his Instagram account on Tuesday. The people around India welcomed Lord Ganesha, marking the start of the Ganeshotsav festival all over the country. Tendulkar performed aarti with the family on the festive occasion and posted a video on his social media account.

Tendulkar’s good friend and his opening partner of cricketing days Virender Sehwag also posted a message for fans on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Tendulkar was presented with the ‘Golden Ticket’ by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup set to take place in October-November.
