Upcoming Aprilia RS 457 is likely to hit the Indian market at the starting price between Rs 4.0 to Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the brand is yet to confirm the details.

The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Piaggio is gearing up to expand its fuel-powered motorcycle in India. In order to achieve this goal, the brand is all set to introduce the all-new Aprilia RS 457, which is expected to launch on September 20, this year.

However, the company is yet to release information details about the same. It has been reported that the company soon will start accepting the advancing booking for sports bike.

The brand has already unveiled the upcoming sports bike in the overseas market, revealing most of the important details and key features. It has been reported that the Aprilia RS 457 will be the smaller version of the RS 660, which comes with tones of eye-catching features and a decent amount of power.

Taking about the design first, as mentioned above, the bike will share a lot of features with the existing RS 660. It will get a split LED headlight setup, paired with a transparent visor, which will enhance its overall look and road appearance. It will also feature a similar style of fairing, clip-on handlebars, and rear-set footpegs, which will allow the riders to have a good sporty riding posture.

The bike will come with Bluetooth-enabled TFT display, allowing the riders to track important information on the screen such as messages, calls, and whatnot. To make it more fast and lightweight, the company again will use the aluminum frame, which will help the riders to expirence great power and torque. On the safety front, the bike will feature a three-level traction control system, dual-channel AB5, and will have three ride modes to choose from.

When it comes to displacement, the upcoming Aprilia RS 457 will be powered by a 457 cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which will churn out max output of 47 bhp. The unit will be mated with a 6-speed transmission. As far as the price is concerned, it will go above Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom).
