Shah Rukh Khan dons many hats. The superstar has now become the ambassador of a new initiative by a leading car brand that aims to promote inclusivity for specially-abled people. On Tuesday, SRK attended the initiative’s event in New Delhi where he also recited a poem for the para-athletes present there.
In a video that is now being widely shared on social media, Shah Rukh Khan is heard saying, “Unki har jeet unhe batati hai ki vo kitne samarth hai. Chand se uthe sabko pata hai, ki vo kitne samarth hai. Pani ki gehraiyo ko pata hai ki vo kitne samarth hai (Each of their wins tells how capable they are. Those who rise from the moon, the depth of the waters, they know how capable they are)."
“Chalo inke misaal se duniye ki soch badle. Chalo, ek aisi duniya banaye jaha ye apne khwab ko khud poora kar paye. Kuki ye sab samarth hai (Let’s change how the world thinks of them. Let’s make a world where they can fulfill their desires by themselves. Because, they are all capable)," the actor added.
King Khan sported a white shirt paired with a blue blazer and grey trousers for the event. Needless to say, he looked charming as always.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen in Jawan. Released on September 7 this year, Jawan also starred Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in key roles. The film received positive reviews from critics and was widely loved by all. Jawan grossed over Rs 1100 crore at the global box office. Besides this, SRK also made a special appearance in Tiger 3 recently in the same way that Salman Khan’s Tiger appeared in Pathaan.
Next, Shah Rukh Khan will be soon seen in Dunki. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will hit theatres on December 22 and also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in key roles. Shah Rukh Khan is also likely to come together with Salman Khan for a film titled Tiger Vs Pathaan.
