Koffee With Karan Season 8: Sara Ali Khan has finally addressed the elephant in the room as she made an appearance on Karan Johar’s popular chat show Koffee With Karan Season 8, along with Ananya Panday. Sara has been linked with Indian batsman Shubman Gill for a very long time. The duo sparked dating rumours after being spotted together on a dinner date. However, they never addressed the reports surrounding their alleged romance publicly. For the first time, Sara has opened up about her link-up rumours.
In the latest promo from an upcoming episode of Koffee With Karan, Karan Johar asks Sara about her dating rumours with Shubman. To this, Sara replied, “You have got the wrong Sara, guys. Sara ka sara duniya galat Sara ke peechay pada hai (the whole world is after the wrong Sara),” leaving Karan in splits. Shubman is said to be dating Sara Tendulkar, according to multiple unverified media reports.
Earlier, when Sara Ali Khan was asked if she would be open to marrying a cricketer just like her grandmother Sharmila Tagore, she revealed that the profession didn’t matter to her.
Sara Ali Khan said that the man could be a cricketer or a businessman but he needed to match her mentally and intellectually. “I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession),” she told India Today.
