Ruslaan Mumtaz Assures He Is Safe, Things Are 'Calmer' In Latest Video From Manali; Watch
Ruslaan Mumtaz has been shooting in Manali for a while now.

Heavy rainfall in various regions of Himachal Pradesh has resulted in widespread chaos. The floods have caused significant damage already, washing away roads, vehicles, and even houses. He shared, “Everything seems calmer here, The rain has stopped. The river has subsided.”

He further added, “I’ve been fortunate enough, to stay at this hotel. The owner’s family was kind of enough.” He also introduced his friends he spent the night with, and said, “They are like my guardians. Literally guardian angels.” On a closing note, he shared, “So I’m fine, I’m doing well. So I wanted to let everyone know because I’ve been getting a lot of messages.”

Ruslaan found himself stranded due to the flooding. To keep his followers informed, he earlier took to Instagram, sharing a series of stories detailing the situation that he is witnessing firsthand. Taking refuge in a garage-like area, Ruslaan could be seen in videos alongside his companions as they sought shelter. In one of his posts, he captioned it as “Home for the night.” The actor shared a video showing the surroundings, with a caption saying that the road had completely vanished. Sharing his thoughts, Ruslaan mentioned in the video that he never thought of being stranded in Manali with no network, no means to return home due to blocked roads, and the inability to continue shooting. “Never imagined I would actually get stuck in Manali with no network, no way to get back home as the roads are blocked and I am unable to shoot as well. Tough times in a very very beautiful place. I don’t even know if I should be happy, sad, thankful, grateful, or just enjoy my apple,” he wrote.

Ruslaan has been shooting in Manali for a while now and has been sharing pictures from the beautiful locales before heavy rains lashed the state.

A red alert has been issued in Himachal Pradesh and several parts of North India due to severe weather conditions. On Monday, landslides in Shimla resulted in four additional fatalities, bringing the total death toll to 18 in rain-related incidents over the past three days.

In a recent interview Ruslaan had said that he feels nostalgic to be a part of music video again. “There was a time when I used to do a lot of music videos, but then the scene changed. Luckily, indie music is back with a bang, and so are music videos. I had two videos out in recent times, the last one being Ghodi Leke Aaja…with singer Senjuti Das, along with season three of my web show A.I. SHA: My Virtual Girlfriend. For now, I am taking it easy and shooting for another project,” he had said.
