BTS member Jimin made history earlier this year when his single Like Crazy bagged the number-one spot on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. He emerged to be the first South Korean solo artist to claim the flamboyant feat, rising through the ranks while knocking down Miley Cyrus’s Flower. Jimin did celebrate the milestone on Instagram but not many know he also got a congratulatory cake along with a number-one sash at the time. The photos from the celebration were kept hidden until they were discovered by ARMY on Jimin’s 28th birthday. It appears Jimin intended to keep the cake-cutting moment a private affair.
The celebratory photos circulating on X feature the K-pop idol donning his number-one victory sash. He stands holding a delicious floral cake while striking a bright smile for the camera. A loyal fan of the artist shared the pictures online writing, “Jimin got a cake to congratulate number-one on Hot100 and we only found out about it now.” Take a look at it here:

As soon as the photos surfaced online, ARMY began highlighting how Jimin likes to keep things private. A fan commented, “Jimin is a really low-key kid.”

Jimin thanked his fans after achieving the massive milestone by sharing a screenshot of the top 10 songs on the Hot 100 chart. “Love u all,” the Like Crazy hitmaker captioned the post alongside a purple heart emoticon. Produced by PDogg and Ghstloop, Like Crazy was released in two languages, English and Korean. The vibe of the foot-tapping synth-pop track was all unrequited feelings chronicling the artist’s pitfalls amid the limelight and his fears of losing his real identity owing to stardom.

In addition to this, Jimin’s debut solo album Face also features at the number-two position on the Billboard 200 albums chart. With artists including Pdogg, Ghstloop, Evan, BLVSH, and Supreme Boi taking the production lead, BTS leader RM was also credited for writing three songs on the album. Face consisted of six tracks in total including the single Set Me Free, Pt. 2.
