Time and again, Alia Bhatt has expressed her love for Raha and often shares fun moments from her daily life with her baby daughter. On Sunday morning, the actress took to her Instagram handle to indulge in a delightful session of ‘Ask Me Anything’ with her fans. During which, the actress opened up about dealing with separation anxiety for Raha. The actress also revealed about the cute nicknames she has given Raha.
Opening up about separation anxiety she shared, “It’s never easy leaving her. But I guess that’ll take a while to change. Knowing she’s with family even when I’m away makes me feel less guilty somehow.” When asked about the cute nick names of Raha Kapoor, the Highway actress added, “Rahu, Rara, Lollipop (to name a few).”
The actress also opened up about dealing with anxiety. “We all have certain things that might trigger our anxiety – for example I find myself getting very worked up with any sudden change or a situation I have no control over.. but it took me a long while to understand that.. so prior to any of these moments I just try and be aware of it and if it’s too much I allow myself to check out and feel the way I feel. Trying to control how you feel sometimes does more harm than good. Also speak to someone who you can trust! It helps!”
Earlier last year, in an interview with Variety, Alia revealed motherhood has changed her perspective to life.
“Motherhood has changed me so much in the span of — I mean, it’s, as I give this interview, it’s barely been a month, just over three weeks, but I don’t know about how it’s going to change the way I pick my roles yet because I haven’t gotten to thinking about that. But it’s changed the way I look at everything,” she told the international publication.
While Alia feels that her ‘heart is a little bit more open than it was before,’ she doesn’t know the impact it would have on her career. I’m excited to see how that journey pans out,” she added.
Meanwhile, the National Award-winning actress is currently shooting for her upcoming film Jigra. Alia is not just playing the lead in the film but is also co-producing it with Karan Johar. The film is directed by Vasan Bala of Monica, O My Darling fame. She is also rumoured to be collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Baiju Bawra.
