Zaheer Iqbal is all set to marry Sonakshi Sinha. The actor was spotted hours before his and Sonakshi’s wedding ceremony on Sunday, June 23. A video has surfaced online showing the actor making his way out of his house and heading toward the wedding venue. He waved at the cameras before he jumped into his car. The actor’s car was soon surrounded by paparazzi.
While Zaheer smiled for them, he leaped from his seat out of concern for the paparazzi standing in front of his car. Gesturing them to be careful, Zaheer signalled that he will meet the cameramen at the wedding venue. Watch the video below:
A source informed The Indian Express that the wedding registration will take place at Zaheer Iqbal’s residence. It seems like the couple is not hosting a Nikkah or a Hindu-style wedding ceremony. Instead, after their marriage is registered, Sonakshi and Iqbal will be hosting a wedding party. The bash will take place at Shilpa Shetty’s famous restaurant, Bastian.
DJ Ganesh confirmed that he will be playing at Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding party. Speaking with Dubai Brew, he said, “Sonakshi has a private reception at Bastian at Dadar. I think there’s a 1,000 people invited. So, I think it will have full-on Bollywood mix-off till 4 in the morning.”
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are getting married after dating for seven years. The actress’ father, veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha was upset that she had not kept him informed about her wedding plans. But he eventually gave her his blessings.
“Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,” he told Times Now before adding, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
