Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Oru Jaathi Jathakam film finally finds a release date. The makers announced that the film will be released worldwide on August 22. The film is directed by M Mohanan and scripted by Rakesh Mantodi.
Oru Jaathi Jathakam features Vineeth Sreenivasan and Nikhila Vimal in the lead roles. It also stars Babu Antony, P P Kunhikrishnan, Mridul Nair, Indu Thampi, Vidhu Prathap, Sayanora Philip, Renji Kankol, Amal Thaha, Rejitha Madhu and Kayadu Lohar in important roles. The film is produced by Maha Subair, under the banner of Varnachithra. Viswajit Odukkathil is handling the cinematography of the film.
The music of the film is composed by Guna Balasubramanian and the editing by Ranjan Abraham. The film is touted to be a comedy entertainer. Rohan Parakkad, Nirmal Varghese and Samar Sirajjudin serve as assistant directors for the film. The costume design is by Rafi Kannadiparamba, while the makeup is done by Shaji Pulpally.
Earlier, the teaser for the Malayalam film was released by the makers. The teaser, which runs for 50 seconds, generates a significant buzz among the audience. The makers also unveiled the official poster for the film.
The teaser showcases a mix of emotional drama, a hint of violence and moments of light-heartedness. At the end of the teaser, the main character appears to be caught in a dilemma involving multiple women. The description in the teaser read, “Get ready for a sneak peek into the whirlwind world of Jayesh in this teaser – it’s about to get wild!"
The official poster also features Vineeth Sreenivasan surrounded by multiple women. Fans are expecting the film to be a wonderful entertainer and next hit.
Vineeth was last seen in his own directorial, Varshangalkku Shesham. He will also play an important role in the upcoming film, Bha Bha Ba. The film also stars his brother, Dhyan Sreenivasan. The actor-filmmaker is also set to team up with producer Visakh Subramaniam for his next directorial.
