The much-awaited film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is about to release in just a few days. The anticipation for Deadpool & Wolverine is hitting high and audiences are full of excitement to watch the biggest collaboration between these two much-loved superheroes. To add to the excitement, the Marvel Studios have constantly been dropping sneak peek of the characters together.
These glimpses have also been successful in showing us the chemistry between the leads, Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and Hugh Jackman returning as Wolverine. As of now, the latest update that the Marvel Studios have shared is that the Deadpool & Wolverine team have already started their global press tour, with their first destination being Shanghai in China.
Marvel Studios’ social media page has also shared some photos and clips from these Deadpool & Wolverine events held in Shanghai – which is the first stop in the campaign’s global tour. As per the latest video shared by the production studio, along with actors Ryan and Hugh Jackman, the film’s director Shawn Levy is also present with them. The trio looks and acts all goofy in the clip as they invite audiences to watch the film in theatres.
In the clip, we get a glimpse of actor Hugh Jackman on a video call saying “yes,” in front of a giant Deadpool statue. Within seconds, the video zooms out as Ryan Reynolds appears and says, “This is the first time Hugh’s handlers have ever let him outside. He has never been in the sun before and he has never touched electronics.” To this, Hugh asks, “What? what did you say?” “Nothing, I was just saying that you’re so handsome and so tall,” replies Ryan. The duo runs as director Shawn Levy shows up and shouts, “Cut!”

The upcoming film starts six years after the events of Deadpool 2 (2018) as Wade Wilson leads a peaceful family life. Wade is living in normalcy until the Time Variance Authority (TVA) – a bureaucratic organisation that exists outside of time and space monitors the timeline and asks him to join a new mission. With his home universe facing an existential threat, Wilson reluctantly joins. The film will be released in cinemas on July 26 in English, Hindi, Tamil & Telugu.
